Off point, but I want to vent!

Anyone see "THEY LIVE" One reviewer said something like...it was a reaction to the Regain Yuppie years. Not So, it's profound meaning is the International Corporations who are running the world. And turning the middle class into the working (It they're lucky) poor.

We need to elect politicians who will represent the people and not just the interests of the multi-national corporations.

More and more companies of downsizing, off shoring jobs ..and rewarding CEO's with even larger salaries and bonuses.

We need to stop the race to the bottom. The economy needs to be the number one campaign issue this next election.

In my world I would make petroleum efficiency the number one issue.

Perhaps the problem is the more efficient one country becomes in it's use of petro the more wasteful other countries become, so why bother.

If all I make are 40-50mpg cars, some other country may decide to make hummers instead so as not to have to directly compete.

Maybe we should be worshiping Dinosaurs?
